          Through the Food Bank for Westchester’s “Feed a Family” campaign, just $25 can provide a family a holiday meal . Everyone deserves a nice meal around the table this holiday season, and with your support we can help feed families, children, and seniors who are hungry or food insecure.

          Start a Facebook Fundraiser

          Raise money with friends, family, or colleagues by creating a Facebook Fundraiser! With your customizable Facebook Fundraiser, you can accept online donations, track your progress, and invite your friends to “Feed a Family” with you!           Triple Your Impact to Those in Need with the “Give a Meal” Campaign

          Amp up your holiday giving game by donating to the Food Bank through Feeding America’s “Give A Meal” initiative in partnership with the Bank of America Charitable Foundation.

          From now until December 31, 2017 , Bank of America  will match every dollar donated by $2, tripling your impact on your neighbors in need this Holiday season!

          Check-Out Hunger 2017 

          Each year, select grocery stores throughout Westchester County participate in Check-Out Hunger® (COH), a point of sale campaign running through January, 2 2018 that benefits food banks from New England through Virginia and even Florida. The Food Bank for Westchester is proud and grateful to be a beneficiary of this campaign. 

          While shopping at your participating grocery store, you are encouraged to donate to this campaign, the proceeds of which benefit our 300 hunger relief programs throughout the County. 

          This year, Westchester has 16 grocery stores participating, and we need your help to make this campaign a success!

          Dine Out at Cheesecake Factory

          Order a slice of festive cheesecake at your local Cheesecake Factory to help the hungry. Westchester County restaurants will donate $0.25 to the Feeding America network for every slice of selected cheesecake sold until Jan. 2, 2018. The proceeds of the local campaign will be split between Feeding America’s national office and the Food Bank of Westchester.


          From Sept. 1 through Nov. 23, slices of pumpkin cheesecake and pumpkin pecan cheesecake will activate donations toward the fight to end hunger.


          From Nov. 24 through Jan. 2 , slices of peppermint bark cheesecake will benefit the fight to end hunger.


          Feel The Love Transformation Cards 


          Purchase this 53 card deck with positive messages to help you foster and maintain a postive mindset. A low tech-high touch way to give a spirtual hug benefitting Food Bank for Westchester. When you make a purchase, $5 of each deck will be donated to the Food Bank for Westchester to help feed our neighbors.

          Westchester Parks Foundation Winter Wonderland Not for Profit Donation Night 


          Thursday, December 14, 5 PM - 9 PM | Kensico Dam Plaza, Valhalla, NY


          Westchester’s Winter Wonderland is back for a fourth exciting season!
          $15 Admission...Unlimited Fun...Children under 3 are free

          On Thursday, December 14th the Westchester Parks Foundation is hosting a Not for Profit Donation Night for the Food Bank for Westchester. Volunteers from the local Rotary Clubs will be collecting nonperishable items. There will be FREE admission for any child under 12 who brings a donation item.

          The most needed food items for donation are: beans (canned or dry), cereals (whole grain), canned meat/fish, milk (shelf stable), canned meals (low sodium), canned vegetables (low sodium), canned or dried fruit, pasta & rice, and peanut butter. All items should be nonperishable. PLEASE, no glass containers or pre-opened items.

          Bring your gifts to The Westchester this holiday season and support the Food Bank for Westchester. While we will gladly wrap all your gifts, we ask you to drop off just 5 at a time so that we can serve everyone. Gifts will be wrapped in the order that they are received. Please drop off gifts at least 15 minutes before our closing time.
