How To Help
Donate Money. Donate Time. Donate Food.
Thank you for your interest in supporting the Food Bank for Westchester’s mission! We rely on the assistance of our community’s members in everything we do, and it’s a tribute to their dedication that we’re able to run so efficiently.
There are many ways to help us fight hunger in Westchester County.
Your gift makes a huge difference! By donating to the Food Bank your generous donation ensures that hungry people in Westchester County will have enough food to eat. Your donations allow us to buy food at discounted costs and help feed people through our various programs. For every $1 we receive, we can provide $4 worth of food to our hungry residents.
You can become a donor of the Food Bank by choosing how you want to give.
We have campaigns throughout the year:
You can donate by mail or phone. Please call 914-418-5204 for more information.
Volunteers work in our warehouse and offices and at our events.
Volunteers also serve on our board of directors.
Last year, 8,747 volunteers donated 19,882 hours to the Food Bank so that others may eat. These efforts enabled us to distribute over 7.2 million pounds of food and 6 million meals to those hungry or at risk of hunger in Westchester County.
Today and going forward we need more and more volunteers to support our frontline agencies, helping to
expand their capacity to reach neighbors in need.
The Food Bank for Westchester welcomes food donations from our community members. Food Drives are an excellent way for school groups, corporations, places of worship, community groups and organizations to help us address the hunger issue in the county.
