The Food Bank for Westchester is the supply and support center for more than 200 hunger-relief programs throughout Westchester. Last year, we distributed more than 6 million pounds of food – one million pounds more than the year before – to help end hunger in our county. But it was not enough! We are seeing more families in need than ever, and demand for our services is on the rise.
How can you help? One way is by holding a food drive. The links from this page provide ideas and information about organizing and conducting a food drive.

DROPPING OFF FOOD After the Food Drive: You can drop off food to our warehouse at 358 Saw Mill River Road, Millwood, any time the warehouse is open -- Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm -- but after 10:00 am is best because the warehouse staff is very busy first thing every morning preparing food for deliveries. Also, the warehouse is closed the last day of every month for inventory and on certain holidays. The Food Bank will be CLOSED: Monday December 26, 2011 for the Christmas holiday; Monday, January 2, 2012 for the New Year's Day holiday; Monday, January 16 for Martin Luther King's Birthday.
NOTE: We are moving to 200 Clearbrook Road, Elmsford, NY 90523 (phone: 914-923-1100) between December 9, 2011 (administrative staff moves that day to new location) to February 1, 2012 (warehouse moves to new location). After February 1, 2012, all food donations should be dropped off at 200 Clearbrook Road, Elmsford, NY 10523.
