Children's Programs

Through the assistance of local and Feeding America programs, the Food Bank for Westchester is able to provide nutritious, fresh foods to thousands of Westchester County hungry children and provide safe and nurturing places for children to have a meal during after school hours.

Research has shown that food insecurity and hunger are serious threats to children’s health, growth and development. The nation’s economic growth depends on the well-being of our children. As such, the existence of childhood hunger in the United States threatens future American prosperity.
